Standing Committees of the MCDP

The MCDP is looking for registered Democrats who would like to serve on our standing committees. These committees provide oversight to the MCDP, the Executive Committee and the Executive Board. Assignments to these committees are made by the Chairman of the Maricopa County Democratic Party.

Vacancies exist on the following standing committees.

  1. Finance (chaired by Treasurer and requires two elected PCs to sit on this committee)
  2. Platform
  3. Organization and Party Building
  4. Fund Raising
  5. Voter Registration
  6. Candidate Recruitment
  7. Public Relations and Education

Openings also exist for two other non-standing committees: Bylaws and Election Integrity.

If you are interested in serving on one of these committees, please send an email to info@maricopademocrat.com and provide your name, home address, telephone number, email address and a brief description of why you should be considered for one of these committee assignments.

Please note that you must be a registered Democrat to sit on any of these committees.

Maricopa Democratic Party Reorganization Results

On Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the Plumber's Union Hall, the newly elected Democratic Party precinct committee representatives of Maricopa County met to elect a new board of officers for 2007-2008. Our congratulations to the new members of the Maricopa County Democratic Party Executive Board:
